Semi-Private Coaching is formerly known as Personal Training

Do you need an individualized approach? Semi-Private Coaching is a great idea if you have specific goals you wish to achieve, you desire a greater level of accountability, you have special needs or considerations, you have chronic injuries or medically controlled conditions, or you simply prefer the individualized attention of a Coach.

With Coaching, we write your exercise program based on your stated goals, your skills and abilities, and also any limitations you might have. We will perform assessments specific toward your stated goal and your body, which may include resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, Functional Movement Screen, plus any strength or aerobic tests as needed. Then, we take all the data we collect and use it to write an exercise program specific to your goals, needs, and body and deliver it to you on an appointment basis in a semi-private setting.

Jeff originally got into training after losing 125lbs. He has over 14 years of experience in the field of Personal Fitness Training, starting at Bally Total Fitness and the Highline Community College gym, then providing in-home personal training when he transferred to CWU in 2010 to study Clinical Physiology. He opened Empowered Fitness Training in 2012 while completing an internship at Canyon View Physical Therapy and has been training the Ellensburg community since. His main focus is strength development for all ages and working with post-physical therapy clients.

Tori Morgan

NASM-Certified Personal Trainer

Tori came to us in 2018 originally as a member with a passion for fitness and nutrition. She embarked on a transformation that brought fat loss, added lean muscle mass, and even maintained her changes through a healthy pregnancy. Considering her daughter and the healthy lifestyle she wants her to grow into, Tori was inspired to become a Certified Personal Trainer. She is eager to help bring about change in her clients and to help the greater community change the way they view health and wellness as a whole.

Travis Heinz

Travis started with us in 2015 as an intern from CWU's Exercise Science program and, upon graduating, started to train with us and teach boxing classes. He got into boxing at the age of 16 and experienced his own body transformation. He trains functional strength, aerobic conditioning, boxing, and works with clients on their nutrition and body composition.
